Workshop 1 Introduction to Blogging

Just showing off to my Husband how clever I am with my Blog I created, I am not sure why you would want to create a blog......but I have.

In week one Module one, we learnt several very interesting things

1. How to put screenshots using imageshack onto your blog. Screen shots are a copy of what is on the computer screen that you want to transfer.

2. How to create a 'blog'at blogspot.com

3. How to register at imageshack.us

I skimmed through the reading materials provided on 'welcome to PC Lube and Tune'I imagine you would use this to access info about the best ways to get the most from your computer.

Also skimmed through the reading on "how stuff works" which info on how your computer works and all the bits in it.

The Start of Something New for Nicole

Today is Wednesday 28 Feb 2007. A very exciting day because I have started something really challenging and hoping to keep it up and keep learning. My brain is "fizzling" (this is my own term). I am working in UPC0004 class. I am back, I got lost there a bit and had to find my way back into my Blog. Have just been on to Imageshack and registered with them, I am just waiting for them to email me to my ecu email. So took the opportunity to find my way back into my blog and edit and continue on what I started. I am working on the template for my blog which is where i got sidetracked before. So i will attempt that again.......lets see what happens. Now I am working on transferring an image from elsewhere ie My Pictures to my blog, which Gene helped me complete. Had to go to My Computer , My Pictures then upload an image. But when I came to transfer to my Blog I needed at a Username and Password, which I didnt have. On reflection though I think I originally used my home email for my Blog . So I think I will have to wait til I get home to access my email and then I can work on my Blog.
